Piano!

My grandmother is housing my piano - for now. It's been at her home since August of 2009. But, my parents say that once we can get my father's boss to drop off a truck for our use to transport it, it will be mine to keep! =]


Another good piece, my band will be playing this Sunday for church, and we're gonna bring the house down (is that a good thing for a church? Hahaha =] )

Some of Today

So, I went to Books-A-Million today and got a copy of The Hunger Games 

And I've been reading it all day since I got it. I've also been blasting Nightwish's Oceanborn at top speed while I read, 'cause my mom got it for me for Christmas =]


I suggest both of these Items big time. But I strongly suggest Nightwish to anyone looking for a wonderful new band. It's symphonic metal, so kinda like these bands:



Though Evanescence isn't exactly symphonic metal, it's still an amazing band ;]

Merry Christmas to everyone! :)

My house is always different around Christmas. This year, it's slightly un-festive. My sister got a new bike, some books, and one CD. I got a movie (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2), two books (The Heroes of Olympus: The Son of Neptune, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian, by Rick Riordan), a collectors edition of Oceanborn by Nightwish which has a demo on it as well as 3 live songs, a Casting Crowns CD, and a new MP3 player! =) I head off to church in about 15 minutes, and then I have some family reunion with my dad's mom's family. Fun, fun. =)

Christmas Eve

So, I went with my family last night to view the lights in McAdenville, NC (Christmas Town USA). The lights are always so pretty, and there is never a house without decorations on it (As part of an old tradition). Everyone is full of Christmas cheer around there, and I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays to everyone else!

That's just a small sample of how our little Christmas Town looks. I would have taken more, but my camera died =)

Post 2 - Nothing really going on

Well, it's about noon here in Gastonia, NC, USA, and I'm listening to some terrible show my sister has playing on the TV, I think it's something for Disney Chanel. I'm also drinking a flavored bottle of water, and it's not that great, but it's better than getting cavities fom soda =)

WOW, I'm tired. First post too, and I have noting to say. :) Ahhhh, I wish I had something to talk about. Maybe tomorrow I'll have something a little bit better. On the bright side, I've driven myself just a bit insane listening to This band's new album, and I must say, it is the most EPIC piece of work I've ever heard. Way to go Nightwish! =)
